Association of teachers website created by experts. Includes a virtual school with online lessons, educational resources and photocopiable teaching materials.

Direct source materials, lesson plans/classroom activities with a minimum of site-to-site linking.

A leading website helping teachers use technology to improve learning.

www.educate.org.uk – Schoolsnet
Schoolsnet is designed for reviewing schools but in the classroom section you will find a growing number of lesson plans for primary and secondary. Free registration is required to access site fully.

www.education.guardian.co.uk – Education Unlimited
An online ‘Guardian’ publication devoted solely to education and current UK directives and initiatives. A great source of school and curriculum related journalism.

Quality web resources for teachers and pupils.

Provides and publishes editable and printable teaching resources, worksheets, lesson plans and schemes of work.

Over 5000 carefully sourced resources to assist you with homework problems, including many teacher resources to choose from.

This site is dedicated to excellence in educational web sites for children aged 3-12 years.

For every subject this site has the programmes of study and non-statutory guidelines, attainment targets, notes and links to online teaching resources.

Keep up to date with all aspects of policy affecting children and young people.

Stay up to date by checking out the Research of the Month section or link to the Teacher Learning Academy to continue your professional development.

Gateway to quality assured educational resources on the internet. The NGfl provides a network of selected links to websites that offer high quality content and information. Whether you are learning, supporting, teaching or managing, ther are resources on the NGfl for you.

www.qca.org.uk – Qualifications and Curriculum Authority
Order publications, search schemes of work, keep up to date with policy and information about the National Tests.

BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT

www.behaviouruk.com – Behaviour UK
Provides key information, resources and advice on a range of behavioural issues. The resources are designed to encourage pupils to think about their behaviour.

PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS AND SUPPORT SERVICES

Union websites offer support and advice on many professional issues from health and safety to school trips. You don’t always have to be a member to access the information.
