Q8. How does Supply Teaching Work?

A.  GB act on behalf of many schools, nursery schools and day care centres. Requirements are relayed daily, weekly and termly for us to match requirements. You will be completing assignments on GB’s behalf, however, we will be developing your profile in the process.

A.  Yes it will. All feedback/references will help build your portfolio/profile to demonstrate your ability and flexibility to best effect.

Q14. How does supply teaching benefit me?

A.  If you are new to the area or teaching itself supply gives you the unique insight of the schools and centres in your area. Rarely would you get such an opportunity. Where else can you be seen by so many schools in action as opposed to interview after interview.

If you have experience and need more flexibility, a few days per week and want to control you commitment supply is for you.

If you love variety without too much bureaucracy – it’s for you.

If you are an NQT and still unsure of your future – it’s for you.

Q15. Do you help many teachers back into education?

A. GB pride themselves in helping hundreds of teachers back in to education – largely through their own efforts of course- we simply make the introductions and recommendations. The rest is down to you (with a little help).
